Minister’s Bible Study runs occasionally at some point in the year for approximately 6 weeks. The format is simple: about 25-40+ people meet in the Minor Hall. After a praise song and a brief prayer, there is a reading from God’s Word. The large group splits up into smaller groups for 20 minutes to discuss the reading and then comes together as a whole again when the minister answers some questions and gives further teaching. After a prayer and a final praise item, there’s tea, coffee, biscuits and a time to chat. It all lasts less than an hour and a half. No-one is asked to pray out loud, nor is anyone ‘put on the spot’. Everyone is welcome.
